Hi, Firstly sorry for the banging noise when i move the camera. For 1 day the Dx-ing conditions were very favorable, ????I started around 2pm and for the rest of the day and evening I could hear operators, after recording over 6 hours of video and getting a sore throat, it’s time to hang up the microphone ????.It’s refreshing to speak with so many interesting and polite people, to the operators that i recorded your audio, the time we spoke will correspond with the time on the display on my radio, thanks for watching, till the next time 73 from Rotterdam..Hallo voor een dag, de omstandigheden zijn erg gunstig.
Thanks john good work my young lad is happy now to hear himself on you tube hope too hear again if any one hears my son on give him a call 29ow015thanks
Hello John i have a question about ur location.
Can u tell me what hight ur antenna is standing ,u have a very good signal even less qrm ,( i know ur using a yagi antenna wich is ofcourse the best thing to do but i don.t have enough space on the roof )
I told u before im using HEF 10/20/40 200W hanging from the roof wich start at 11 mtr down to my shed wich is 2,6 mtr.
Its possible for me to hang my antenna one mtr higher on the top connected to the mast of my sirio antenna.
I also have to say my HEF 10/20/40 200W hangs between two tension wires so maybe this also gives a bit qrm.
Incase i install the HEF 10/20/40 above these lines would that give a better result for receiving weak stations and also less qrm.
I know HEF antenna always gives more qrm but now it holds me for receiving the weak stations
The sirio antenna is much less qrm but not adjusted for the low frequenties
So maybe u can give some advice John.
Regards Hans.
I just happened across this video this evening and was the push i finally needed to dig my Cobra 148 out again. She hasn’t been fired up for 20+ years now and i didn’t expect so many stations to still be active in the age of the internet. I’ll rig up a 1/2 wave dipole tomorrow and see what’s happening. Hopefully catch you on the air sometime buddy. 26CI687

Lots of interference on there try unplugging your wifi and other equipment to find the culprit
