Yeah. I think there’s some missed nuance, especially when the first thing u think to do is chuckle at the end of ur listen there. That real squeaky, call & response section where AR doesn’t seem to be killin the melodic response literally feels intentional – almost "forced" to try to back up the previous lines of "u don’t understand my pain"
This is the first song I’ve heard by 645AR and tbh I don’t fw it lol, sounds like some Flex Gang bullshit or the worst tendencies of 100 gecs with an R&B twist imo
I like the beat and twigs’ performance, but man, does she make AR look bad in comparison. Respect to him for sticking his neck out like this, I guess.
