Big Bank & DJ Scream are back for Episode 7 of Big Facts! They open the show by shouting out Ayo Nation, Ayo Consaco, & his Big Facts Podcast. They talk about not biting ideas from any other show and extend an olive branch of support to Ayo & his movement.
Next, Big Facts welcomes Yung LA who stops by to talk about what he’s been up to since taking a break from the spotlight. He talks about new music, a new EP coming soon, & new collaborations with Zaytoven on the way. He talks about his influence on the Atlanta music scene early in his career with the lingo & black boy white boy swag that keeps him motivated to keep it going. They discuss what has changed & what he is doing differently now during his come back. He says to expect a better version of himself & that going through adversity helped him to mature & get back focused. He touches on his relationship with TI & why it went sour. He reveals that he felt abandoned at the height of his career by the label due to legal set backs involving Tip & admits that he was emotional & in his feelings, which caused him to react in a way that wasnt a good look for the label at the time.
As for moving forward, LA says that he is leaving everything in the past & embraces separation in order to elevate. He touches on getting caught up in the fame, indulging in drugs & other vices, how that affected him & how he moved, & when he finally knew he had to check himself.
Next, LA talks about the Black Amigo Boys vs Black Migo Gang controversy, how J Money brought the idea to him, & he ran with it, not knowing that Black Migo Gang was already an established crew including Young Scooter, Casino, & more. He shouts out the real Black Migo Gang & says his relationship with Scooter is good. He touches on his relationship with J Money & reveals that although they are friends & make great music together, not to expect new music from the duo soon.
LA speaks on the Big Facts of what really went down with his infamous Duct Tape tattoo that resulted in a fight with Alley Boy that went viral. He says that he had been rocking with Duct Tape & felt that it would be his new home after parting ways with Grand Hustle. He had been stamped in by Dave, Bank & others, but Alley Boy wasn’t aware that there were talks about LA getting down with DTE. He saw the tattoo online and when he confronted LA about it, his response was taken as disrespect. Bank says that it all boils down to miscommunication & that he would have stopped the fight from going down if he could. He talks about how the story took a life of its own after going viral online and that the internet ran with the story without really getting to the truth of how it went down, even after Alley and LA got to a place of understanding. LA reveals that he has a new single, new video, & new EP on the way for the first quarter of 2020!
Next, Kiyomi Leslie stops by Big Facts! She talks about her new endeavors, including her upcoming music debut. She reveals that she has been rapping since she was young but because she got her start being featured in music videos, she was nervous to admit that she was into making music too. She started focusing on making music so that when the opportunity presented itself, she would be prepared. She talks about how she met Bow Wow on the music tip before they started dating.
Kiyomi talks about dummy studio missions as a woman in the music game, and how most times men are trying to get at her rather than really help musically. She reveals that she did record several songs with Bow Wow but when they broke up, their business relationship also dissolved.
Next, they get into the Big Facts of what really happened during the infamous domestic dispute that landed Kiyomi in jail & left Bow Wow’s face scratched up. She reveals that she was fighting for her life, & that Bow was upset that she was trying to leave him.
She talks about her current space in life, working & not focusing on dating, but reveals that she is well taken care of & any man that steps to her must know how to treat a high maintenance woman like herself. She pleads the 5th on her craziest DM because a lot of suitors are married or have girlfriends.
