His strategic approach and keen understanding of the industry garnered widespread recognition, earning him the reputation of a marketing maven.

In 2005, he joined E1 Music (Koch Records) as the Ohio Valley Representative, where he played a pivotal role in branding artists such as Jim Jones, BG (formerly of Cash Money), Slim Thug, Obie Trice, DJ Khaled, and others. His ability to build connections and promote talent solidified his position as a go-to figure in the music scene.

As an advocate for regional artists, Big Heff initiated the Ohio Hip Hop Awards & Music Conference in 2006. This groundbreaking event aimed to raise awareness of the Ohio Valley Region’s thriving entertainment scene. Through the awards ceremony and music conference, Big Heff provided a platform for local talent to shine and gain industry recognition.

In 2010, Big Heff launched “Big Heff’s Industry Tour,” a quarterly artists awareness tour that revolutionized the way emerging talent was promoted.
