During our conversation he talked about making some of his biggest tracks here in Atlanta, life in Brooklyn, jumping off the porch, getting kicked out of college after one semester, losing his basketball scholarship, learning not to trust people, just starting to make music late last year, his breakthrough single “Rollin N Controllin”, growing up with Pop Smoke, laughing off comparisons that he sounds like Pop Smoke, being influenced by Chicago drill music, following up with “Rolando”, explains his rap name, adjusting to fame, the music scene in Brooklyn right now, the importance of having a support system, having his mother’s name tatted on his face, the island culture in New York, his upcoming debut album that drops in June, partnering with EMPIRE, and much more!
