This was our very first festival which brought out the likes of Killer Mike, Waka Flocka, and the Godfather of Hip Hop himself, Afrika Bambaataa.
That time when Atlanta Hip Hop Day partnered with Occupy Atlanta in 2011 and has some “Issues” with the former Mayor of the City of Atlanta, Mayor Kasim Reed.
But guess what? We at Atlanta Hip Hop Day stand with the community, so we were willing to take the risk.
