Freeband CB DX 26.775 MHz and 26.805 MHz – 15 July 2016
Two-way radio traffic on the “lowers” or “low channels” in the freeband frequency plan, the 26 MHz frequencies are generally used for AM traffic (at least in North America, the exception to this being 26.555 LSB and 26.225 USB and the nearby frequencies). However, the 26.515-26.955 band that lies directly below CB channel 1 is nearly all AM mode. Conversation on 26775 and 26815. The “freeband” frequencies are heavily used due to the heavy congestion of the legal 40 CB channels.
