Notice how he said "when Detroit started supporting it’s own music, it blew up." That’s exactly how ATL became a black hub for music, film, business, ect. Detroit big enough to be a hub for anything we just got to support ourselves and outsiders will notice.
Detroit dr.dre ain’t nobody better than this dude. Detroit stand it up

I’m just going to say it Tee Grizzley and Helluva put on the whole city ????
Yeah….I remember when ATL was clowning Detroit and using those girls with that song "it’s so cold in the D" to represent the Detroit rap scene…lol. Ricky Smiley was playing it on a morning show laughing at the D.
Detroit went through some extremely hard times for a period of over 2 decades that ended up in Detroit going bankrupt. Detroit lost a lot of confidence in itself because it used to be, for blacks, what Atlanta has become for blacks today. There was a time everybody was trying to move from Detroit to Atlanta or someplace else. However, Detroit and Michigan has a LOT to offer but people just learned to hate. I swear there was a time that everybody in Michigan talked down on Michigan and especially Detroit. Everybody was telling you how bad it was to live in Michigan….and for awhile that was true because the economy. Things have turned around over the last 15 years. Detroit and Michigan is not the same place it was 20 years ago. The cities are coming back and there is a helluva (pun intended) lot of things to do with all the beaches, Sand Dunes, Lakes, Casinos, Clubs, Parks….and there are like 6 or 7 major cities within a 5 hour drive, including Toronto and Chicago. People just trend surf and do what other people do….so everybody moving south so they think that is what they need to do to keep up. Atlanta is nice but if I had to make the choice today….I would pick the Detroit area hands down.
Damn u look like Payroll…like u his Daddy.
