And they wanted to kill me because my girlfriend at the time was getting of the train on Norwood and fulton and one of the drug dealers got fresh with her so I ran up to him and punched him a few times in the face. Dominicans started coming out from everywhere and chased me, I got away but they put the word out in the street that they were going to kill me. They new the block that I lived in but not the house so they had cars parked on my block with hitmen for 3-4 days. I had to stay in my cousin’s house that week to let things calm down. But they would have killed me anytime I showed back up, So me and some of my Puerto RIcan boys from the hood went to the drug dealers’ restaurant in Norwood and Fulton and we walked in with guns in our waste band. Ready to shoot it out if we had too. We spoke to Chelo the big boss, a little guy about 5’6" and explained to him what happened. He called his drug dealer worker that I punched in the face and told all of us that if we brought heat to his drug spot he would kill us all including his worker. But he also told his worker that is was over and ordered him to squash the beef. And that was the end of it. The killing and destruction to East New York continued for another 5-6 years until the government finally decided to take action and take them out.

I don’t necessarily think he’s a sociopath, all I see/hear is an old school NYC dude. Loud, assertive, confident and says whatever is on his mind to whomever, without hesitation. NYC is an exhilarating, vibrant and intoxicating place. The city that never sleeps because it’s almost as if the city itself is on drugs, an infinite mainline of high grade cocaine and 1990’s era extacy (when they were called “rolls”) flowing directly into its infrastructure. I don’t think it’s possible for someone born and raised there to possess, in the slightest, any timid or subservient characteristics/tendencies.

If I’m not mistaken, this guy started abusing drugs and alcohol which eventually turned more towards the addictive/problematic side. Maybe he did this due to the guilt he felt from his actions. A true sociopath just flat out wouldn’t give a shit. Just my unwarranted opinion. I will say, once you step into that life, especially robbing and selling large quantities of cocaine, it becomes a dog eat dog world very quick.
    Survival of the fittest.

Damn, I didn’t intend to write such a long comment. Apologies for rambling.

He is not yet fully repentent. Uses humor, and nervous laughter to mask embarassment. Basically a case of greed and very twisted moral compass. The allure of money is very strong and its easy to see how one could be swayed. Would have liked Vlad to interrogate how all this affected his personal life…life in prison as a cop etc, and then how one picks up the pieces upon release

4 minutes into the interview & he’s a horrible liar, he knows it. He’s not confident with his answers, he fabricates alot to make us believe he was doing the community a favor!! He knows VLAD isn’t buying his shit. He’s a bad interviewee. Talking fast trying to BS ????????

I wouldn’t believe him even if I was standing next to him experiencing the same thing.

I have more RESPECT, trust, and faith in people like Mike Dowd and Sammy Gravano who have made mistakes, served their time and who have no reason to lie now and don’t (actually being held accountable and have paid the price) than I do for any of the LIARS in The Government, those corrupt ppl heading some of the three letter agencies, the "news" media, Congress, or The Senate. Definitely more honest and transparent than even our own FBI!?? Anyone see a problem with this? I think we the people need to stand the F up to all of this brainwashing and BS!! Enough is enough!
