In this clip, Mystikal opened up about not releasing an album since 2001’s “Tarantula.” He laughed and stated that he feels like he hasn’t released an album since The Beatles released their last project, and he went on to speak about being back in the studio. After revealing that Pharrell promised him a beat, Mystikal thanked Snoop Dogg for helping him after his release from prison. He also thanked Mark Ronson for putting him on “Feel Right” with Bruno Mars, and Mystikal also addressed being compared to James Brown.

If you do an album again, stick to your old style, hook up with Pharrell, KL and Mannie and stay genuine to your style…continue to do shows and Mystikal is the James Brown of the game

I still have a video of the Ol Skool concert he did in Tennessee year before last. Him, Too Short, 8 Ball & MJG, Scareface and others. Hell he didn’t really have to rap cause the audience was rapping for him. He said "Dayum yall still know all the words to the songs, I might as well just stand here and get a check."????????????
