We recently sat down with rising Mississippi artist OTQ Keemboe for an exclusive “Off The Porch” interview! During our conversation he talked about coming from Canton Mississippi, being the littest in the city, outgrowing his city, losing his close friend Hoodrich, jumping off the porch, being the youngest of all siblings, dropping out of school, getting locked up, coming home last year, fighting his case, focusing got music as soon he came home, explains what motivated him to start rapping, his first song “Pressure Applied” taking off, his music video for “No Surrender”, spending time in Seattle, rapping & writing while locked up, recording “Keemboe Back” the day after he came home, the inspiration for his song “Mama Told Me”, his new songs “We Lit” & “Stars”, having a passion for his music, signing with The Man Child Records, goals, and much more!
