Love & Hip Hop’s Tammy Rivera checks into Hood Rich Radio with DJ Scream! Find out what inspired her swimsuit line, how she really feels about Love and Hip Hop and her new single, “All These Kisses”.
Tammy talks T Rivera swimwear and how important it is to offer stylish and sexy designs to women of all sizes.
Tammy discusses collaborating with Rico Love on her music and how surprising it is for others who discover that she really can sing. She names women who inspire her like Mariah Carey, Sade, Lauryn Hill and Whitney Houston.
Tammy’s husband and HoodRich Radio friend/veteran Waka Flocka pops in during the interview to show support for his wife. She reveals that she still gets nervous recording when he is around.
When asked about her feelings on Love and Hip Hop, Tammy shouted out the franchise for allowing her a platform to reach fans and expand her brand. She revealed that producers sometimes do stir the pot, but no one is feeding the stars lines or forcing them to do anything.
The Love and Hip Hop Atlanta star talks venturing into acting and landing roles in small stage plays as well as on BET’s ‘Tales’ series produced by Irv Gotti.
Tammy reveals that her favorite thing to do outside of work is to spend time with her family, chill in bed, and watch movies on Lifetime. She hints at another side of Waka that cooks and slightly shows interest in her chick flicks.
As a parting word of advice to young girls who look up to her, Tammy offers that we should never think that bad circumstances last forever. She attests to looking back at situations she thought were crushing only to laugh at it down the line. She advises to not put trust in man but have faith in The Most High and you will get through anything.
