Keep it a buck, Drake jumped on Versace Remix and thats when they hit that national buzz. That’s when if Drake got on your track you took off. They used that and ran with it, then their hits got way more notice, so they built off of the Drake feature so good for them for that. But if you really think they where "trappin out a bando" you about as smart as a box of rocks. Also Soulja Boy actually was the one that invented the "dab" its video proof of it on YouTube, 2 yr before they even knew wat it was. Bro you do great work and I know you not a Gucci fan but you should really do some deep research on him and his influence. In 2013 before he snapped and went to prison he had Migos, Young Thug, Peewee Longway, Young Scooter and Waka all officially signed to 1017 at the same time. He possibly had Dolph and Chief Keef signed or had some type of partnership with them around that time too. While he was locked up he sold Thug contract to 300 and let Waka Peewee and Scooter buy out their contracts to pay for his attorney fees. QC Pee was his homeboy and linked up with Gucci old manager Coach K and and started QC and bought Migos contract from Gucci. It’s a whole lot more history too with Gucci and all the artists he helped just an idea for you to look into it would be super dope because nobody on YouTube has touched on it yet.
