ATL HIP HOP DAY

Top 10 Female Rappers Coming out of Atlanta

We had to do it, with Atlanta having so much talent, and this being International Women’s Day!! Yayyyy!!! (Where would we be with out our women??). We, here at ATL Hip Hop Day, felt it necessary to shine a light on the new female talent that the City has to offer.

Also, please keep in mind that there is no particular order, we are in no position to say who’s better than who because the criteria differs depending on your tastes and preferences.  These days it’s more about momentum, streams, viewership than it is particular lyrical skills.  Don’t get me wrong many of our sisters coming in the Hip Hop Industry have pure unadulterated talent, its just these days it takes more than just your lyrics and ability to ride a beat to have a successful career in Hip Hop.

In the past if you could rap, somebody else (usually a high-paid A&R from a major label) would come help you build your publicity, image, style you, pick your features, and get you on some of the biggest platforms to showcase your talent.

These days you have to do that on your own, which in actuality is liberating, because if you do all the right things you can make a huge impact, you really don’t need the middle man.  You can build these skills partner with other influencers or experts in there field and blow the lid off.  But it wont “just” be from rapping, it will be from a combination of how you build your brand and use the tools currently allotted to us like SEO, Targeted Ads, and content management. (Need help in these area?  Hit us up at info@atlantahiphopday.com)

But we digress, back to our list.  Based on who’s HOT right now in Atlanta, and please if you disagree feel free to send in your own names that we missed or forgot:
