Trick Daddy shared his experiences during his rise to fame and the struggles he faced along the way. He had an incredible album with over 170 million streams and chart-topping singles. However, he expressed dismay at record labels using his image for million-dollar videos, something he refrained from. Following the success of this ‘monster album,’ Trick Daddy noticed a significant drop with his next album, and revealed issues with Atlantic Records. His subsequent album with his brother sold 30,000 copies the first week, an indication of a dwindling career. He noted that everything is different now, with labels demanding artists to promote or sell more. Trick Daddy also mentioned releasing his group from a contract with Universal after issues with Birdman. He noted that despite dealing with lupus, which often leaves him lethargic, he continues to remain active on social media while refusing to let the disease control him.
