In this clip, TK Kirkland shared his thoughts on rappers being sold fake jewelry from legit businesses, including Lil Baby, who was called out for having a fake $400,000 Patek Philippe watch. TK admitted that he was impressed that Lil Baby could spend that much on a watch, but he still feels like it’s too much for one piece. Vlad then shared a story about being sold a Rolex that was pieced together with inauthentic parts by the same jeweler that sold the Patek to Lil Baby. To hear more, hit the above clip.

I heard that if you buy a Rolex and bust it down and add diamonds to it or whatever and get it done by anyone other than Rolex….Rolex will no longer consider it a Rolex and it’s basically just a watch with diamonds in it now you can sell it to somebody else on the street but Rolex won’t give you ???? for it or even service it

There’s no such thing as a Rolex Presidential. Most likely was a Rolex day-date with a presidential bracelet.

I disagree with Vlad when he says an expensive watch is a way to park your money. Even if it holds value, your list of potential buyers is limited because of the price. Unless your name really holds weight, nobody is beating down your door to get your used watch.

The same thing with Rolex. Their called AD’s or authorized dealers and if they find out you resold their watches they will cut you off. They want to control the market and that’s why the prices mostly always rise

They do that because a lot of those rappers are young and dumb in some cases. They don’t do their research on jewelry. Bring a professional jeweler to a purchase.
