When someone asked me wasn’t I excited that Kamala Harris was vice president? I said honestly I don’t care because I don’t think anything’s she would do would help me; not much at all giving her power would just give her power. why do people assume we just get excited because we see someone that’s the same color as us in office? I think that’s the better question to ask America because once we can address that we can address how foundationally racist this country is as well. The fact that people have the time to sit there and assume that just because someone of the same ethnicity is someone else’s an office that said person as supposed to be excited without knowing anything about the other person SCREAMS a lot. Like "oboy one of us is in office" NO. We have opinions based off FACTS and formed opinions. not off ethnicity.
