Notably, he disagreed with the actions of Hamas and the policies that Israel has put on Palestine and the Gaza Strip. He also pointed out the silence of public figures with ties to the warring regions, such as Drake (who is Jewish) and DJ Khalid (who is Palestinian), on the matter. He questioned why they hadn’t made a statement about the Gaza-Israeli conflict, implying it could be to maintain their popularity. TK Kirkland responded that he usually avoided discussing religion and politics but expressed his tiredness of the ongoing conflict. He also suggested that public figures like Drake and DJ Khalid might be contributing to aid efforts privately.
