Smmfh. If you guys only knew. Listen this is gonna be a long comment but please read if u want the truth. Fk it I’m gonna say it… (u guys prob wont believe me but) I’m Dave Chappelle first cousin. I’m around chapp all the time. We talk every other day and most of the time we are in studios around these rappers and what the public calls celebrities. I’m gonna let u guys in on a little secret. That white guy’s name is George (idk his last name) but he’s from philly. I met him thru a guy named Jamarcus Walter. Jamarcus has a sister named Belinda, and Belinda goes with George. You guys may know jamarcus. (He is the guy who stole on beanie Segal at the philly show.) George was the one who recorded segal getting hit. Anyway this white boy is apart of meek mills camp. They all know eachother. Dont let these mfs fool y’all. This is why I tell chapp I dont fk with these rappers. I only like being around a small few. The rest are scary, fake, broke and very very corny. They do anything these executives tell em and they dont have any family members other than their moms who even cares about them. Trust me. I’m around em. Anyway. Yeah… the white boy that’s doing all that bs about Meeks bus was told to do that by meek himself.

Nope… When Walter white was cooking and Tony Soprano was mobbin & saying the n word all I heard was crickets. Buddy saved his outrage for black folks as usual. Someone was probably paid good money to come up with that album cover so it’s definitely art. Just keep the same energy when it’s the other way around

Black rappers have been displaying black women in disgusting ways for years. I grew up hearing it on radio and t.v. seeing disgusting images on album covers too. It was black men who chose to display black women this way, It wasnt forced upon them. They would call us b*tches and hoes with other derogatory names. They have set the trend for all of this degrading of women (especially the degrading of black women). Black men need to be held accountable and stop blaming black women for the problems that they’ve created.

Real men take accountability for their errors. They also lead from the front and make changes. Real men protect their women. Not just their wives but the women of their nation too, which includes their daughters, sisters, mothers, grandmothers, aunties, cousins etc. I guess black men don’t want to do that.

This is just another thing that black women will be expected to take the lead on, only to then be criticised for being feminist and too masculine.

I didn’t know meek was a woman, seeing how you keep blaming bw for this. In fact, I didn’t know all bm rappers were actually bw since this is what they promote.

I’m gonna leave this here. You can’t have black female rappers in the media poppin it and sexualizing their performances and image, having it glorified, and making hella money with the dissenters being called haters and then be mad at the brazenness of acts like this. If people don’t open their mouth and speak out about the representation being pushed upon their culture how will anything change? Will anyone even be talking about this in a couple of weeks or has it set the goal post for a new norm?
Edit: think about any other culture, ANY culture who would dare allow this as a representation of themselves- much less of their women.

    C. Delores Tucker tried to take a stand years ago against the degrading of black women…needless to say, it has demeaned our youth’s thinking who came up under this vulgarity. I agree there’s a much larger agenda that’s been pushed here that’s supposed to escape sleepy eyes, however the SLEEPING LION is subtly arising. When his PRIDE fully awaken…..WATCH OUT!!!

Black woman sexualize themselves "creatively" all the time, there’s nothing wrong with this. The artist chose to portray the music in the black community, through imagery. Ppl are so soft these days, its just another example of misandry.

Why wouldn’t it be a melanin woman to say something first unless melanin women don’t mind being looked as the lowest being on the planet. Don’t accept this it’s putting down our daughters and the Mothers and grandmother’s it should be humiliating don’t be a coward and say he’s blaming you he’s asking where is your Pride in self.

To be honest we shouldn’t have a blame game amongst black men and black women. We all as a community know this is disrespectful and should together voice our thoughts against this false image. But we have to look beyond that and at the one’s really pulling the strings here. This brings me back to Dave Chapelle’s joke on Closer Space Jews. They are the one’s who wanted this promoted and could care less if it hurts our brothers and sisters. Just my opinion.
